2009 On its Way Out....Thoughts

Well, 2009 is on its way out! In less that 3 hours (Eastern time), the ball will drop @ Times Square and another year will be upon us. Was 2009 a good year, well I guess it depends on how we look at it. For me, I finished paying off my student loans which is huge, one less debt to pay!
I recieved blessings upon blessings, not all material, but God has proven Himself faithful yet again! He has confirmed His calling on my life again! He is teaching me to perserve in all things, and to trust Him with everything, always. He knows me better than I know myself, and as I yield to Him, I see His favor on my life! Above everything else I am thankful for all the young people I have encouraged, mentored and lifted up in prayer to become all they can be and to follow their dreams! You people whom I speak of now, are the leaders of tomorrow, reach out to a lost and dying world, continue to speak words of encouragement to others! God is the final and the only Judge...He is who we need to please not anyone else! So as 2010 approaches is there anything that you regret? Set some goals for yourself, not resolutions, goals for this coming year and stick to them. God Bless Everyone! May 2010 be your best year ever! Shari

Today....

Today I am in a different place than I was yesterday...and tomorrow I will be in another place....all of this is a part of each of us growing, moving on in our ever changing world. Today I would hope that I am one day wiser, one day closer to making the best decisions for my life and my family! I have learned over the past weeks and months that nothing ever gets accomplished if you sit on it and do nothing about it. If I have a dream deep within my heart, I should follow it, But if the dream does not go along with what God's plan for me is, than I need to let it go, seek Him and allow Him to guide and direct my path and make it straight.

I find that to many people today ( Christians) Go ahead and follow their own dreams without allowing God in, then wondering years later why they failed.... Allow God to be first in your life and everything else will fall into place! Maybe not when you may want it, but it will happen! God Bless You TODAY as you begin to discover all that He has for you!
